Record price for Rangan Weaners

In possibly the best store market seen at Wodonga ever, Rangan Charolais has been able to set what is believed to be a new Australian record for genuine 9-10 month old weaners. The 442kg Rangan Charolais sired calves out of angus cows acheived a price of $1105 equating to $2.50 per kg. The calves had been yard weaned for 2 weeks and presented extremely well for the sale.
Rangan also took out the Victorian Charolais weaner herd competition and the Rural Finance $500 for the best presented pen of weaners in the 3500 head yarding.
